Ultra-Sensitive
Countersurveillance bug detector
This Ultra-Sensitive Countersurveillance Bug Detector
instrument detects and displays electromagnetic radiation over a broad spectrum
of frequencies (it measures electromagnetic radiation from 10 MHz to 4.5
GHz).
This Bug Detector Comes with all
these great features:
- Easy to use.
- Convenient size: a small,
lightweight hand-held instrument that fits into a pocket or purse.
- Highly sensitive: Detecting
radiated signals from cellular phones and phone bugs at more than 20 feet,
transmissions from "sealed" microwave ovens at 40+ feet, from FRS
walkie-talkies at 60+ feet, and from ham radio transceivers at 80+ feet.
- Wide Band: Spans a useable
frequency range from 10 MHz to 4.5 GHz.
- Dual Mode:
LINEAR - for fully
displaying weak signals at the highest sensitivity.
LOG - for displaying
input signals ranging over 1000:1 input range.
- Sensitivity controller: to
manually adjust the input signal level.
- Silent Vibrate Mode: Switchable
vibrator function that allows detection of signals when direct viewing of
the displays is unavailable or undesirable.
- Analog Meter and Light Emitting
Diode (LED) displays: The LED display is particularly suitable for viewing
from a distance or in dimly lit surroundings - such as nighttime.
- Economical: Operating for
approximately 80 hours on 2 AA alkaline batteries.
A great professional
choice:
- Security personnel concerned with
detecting and installing surveillance equipment.
- Wireless installers and RF
engineers - to optimize hub sites, detect hot & dead spots, plotting
radiating patterns, measure baseline RF, tune-up microwatt transmitters.
- HAM Radio operators and hobbyists
- for tuning up QRP transmitters, antenna radiation patterns, determining
front to back ratios, RF leakage and RFI detection, pruning antennas, hidden
transmitter "Fox" hunts.
- Persons interested in measuring
levels of transmitted radiation for health and environment reasons.
- Aircraft/Utilities flight crews
and maintenance personnel to detect radiating devices that could affect flight
safety and communications.
This Bug Detector measures
electromagnetic radiation from 10 MHz to 4.5 GHz, this includes a variety of
household devices:
- Cellular
phones and wireless (portable) phones
- Microwave
ovens
- Transmitting
security and baby-monitoring devices
- Electronic
car keys and garage door openers
- FM radio and
TV broadcasts
Also detects and
measures radiating signals from:
- Hidden
transmitting cameras, transmitting phone bugs, surveillance equipment and
covert microphones
- HAM radios,
FRS walkie talkies, citizens' band, VHF and UHF communicators
- Police and
emergency services transceivers
- Transmission
line leakage from wires or cables

ADDITIONAL SECURITY APPLICATIONS
Using RECEIVER-METER technology the newly
developed bug detector unit provides extraordinary sensitivity and
wide bandwidth in an accurate, small, handheld instrument. The unit differs from
conventional RF meters with Schottky diode detectors by employing multi-stage RF
amplification and sophisticated amplified detection circuitry. This new
technology increases sensitivity of the instrument by 100 fold, and also
broadens the usable bandwidth.
The new device gives state-of-the-art detection of
concealed bugs and cameras at far distances. It is not unusual to detect 2.4 GHz
bugs at 30-40 feet. Using linear and logarithmic detection, it enables quick,
effective sweeps of offices, homes and hotel rooms, efficiently locating the
tiniest RF transmitters. Covert bugs on individuals or at isolated meeting sites
are also discreetly detected using a silent vibrator mode.
An ultra-sensitive analog meter and LED displays make
it easy to view the measurements from a far distance and in dimly-lit conditions
(such as nighttime). This makes the unit ideal for wireless surveillance
and CCTV installations. Choosing optimal installation sites, plotting antenna
radiation patterns, tuning up microwatt bugs and transmitters, measuring
baseline RF levels before installation and installing computer wireless and
networking systems.
The
ergonomically designed bug detector weighs less than 5 oz. with batteries.
It spans a wide 10 MHz to 4.5 GHz bandwidth, has an adjustable sensitivity
controller, and contains 2 fixed internal antennas (which do not require
adjustments). A switched Silent Vibrator Mode allows the discreet detection of
covert surveillance transmitters. The unit readily slips into a shirt
pocket or purse.
